Biography: Theodora Kennedy was born on 22 March 1826, the daughter of Charles Storr Kennedy of Fair View, Ulverston and his wife Elizabeth (née Burton). As a young woman, she wrote a novel Farnorth (1866) which she dedicated to her brother Myles Kennedy. She married diplomat Ewen Colquhoun; the couple had no children. She died on 26 October 1894 in London.
