Biography: Hélène Cassavetti was born in 1850 in London, the daughter of Alexander Cassavetti. Her parents or her early life cannot be traced. She wrote a collection of short stories Perdita, and Other Stories (1874) and contributed to the magazine Lady's Realm in 1902. In 1875, she married the Austrian Baron Adhémar de Linden and the couple had at least one child. She died in 1921.
