Biography: Marion Clifford-Butler was the daughter of Col. Henry Morgan Clifford, of Llantilio, Monmouthshire, and Catherine Harriet Yorke. In 1860, she married James Fitzwalter Butler (1839–1899) (Clifford Butler after his marriage) and the couple had one daughter. After 1881, her husband became the 15th Baron Dunboyne.
