Author: Amelia Margaretta Harrington (birth and death dates unknown)

Biography: Amelia Margaretta Harrington was the daughter of physician Henry Harrington and Elizabeth Wright. By 1850, she and her family lived in Tuscany where father, sister, and mother all died within seven months of each other in 1850. She wrote the single novel Ellen Mordaunt (1851) and a memoir of her sister The Bow in the Cloud. A Memoir of M. E. H. (1857). Her subsequent life cannot be traced. Note: Matteo Giunti's detective work uncovered this author's identity.
