Author: Harry Golding (1870–1947)

Biography: Harry Golding was born on 8 June 1870 in Hendon, the son of bootmaker Frank Golding and Mary Dancy. At a young age, he entered the advertising department of publisher Ward and Lock. From there, he rose to be a publisher's reader and the editor of Windsor Magazine. He also wrote a few novels, including Between Two Fires (1900). He married and had a son and a daughter. For much of his life, he was deaf. Golding died on 1 April 1947 in London.
