Author: Marion Fosbroke Theed (1844–1909)

Biography: Marion Fosbroke Theed was born on 31 July 1844 in Boston, Lincolnshire, the daughter of surgeon Frederick Theed and his wife Marianne (née Fosbroke). Her brother was the jounrnalist Horace Vernon Theed. She never married and live most of her life with family or friends in London, Bath, and Portsmouth according to the censuses. She wrote serial fiction but only one title appeared as a volume, What She Did with her Life (1871). She died on 4 October 1909 in Portsmouth.
