Author: Robert Jewell (1845–1922)
Biography: Robert Jewell was born around 1845 in Cornwall. This early life cannot be traced. He worked as a government surveyor and land agent. While living in Brimfield, Herefordshire, he wrote the single novel. While well received, he never wrote another. He married and lived the majority of his life in south London. He died there on 12 April 1922.
