Author: Frederick Liardet (1798–1846)

Biography: Frederick Liardet was born in 1798, the son of Major Frederick Liardet, Royal Marines. He attended Queens' College, Cambridge, and graduated B.A. (1831) and M.A. (1834). Called to the bar in 1830, Lincoln's Inn. He wrote on work of fiction, Tales of a Barrister (1844). He died in 1846 in Switzerland.
