Biography: Several advertisements identify this author as Katherine Pennefather, the fifth child of the Rt. Hon. Edward Pennefather (1774–1847), the Lord Chief Justice of Ireland, and his wife Susannah (née Darby). She never married and died without issue. Her death cannot be traced.
