Biography: Emily Josephine Dunham was born on 19 December 1868 in Shoreditch, the daughter of Andrew Dunham and his wife Elizabeth (née Short). She wrote the single novel A Woman's Love-Lesson (1895) dedicated to her sister. According to the censuses, she worked as a journalist. She never married and died on 4 March 1944 in Twickenham.
