Author: Anne Isabella Robertson (1830–1910)
Biography: Anne Isabella Robertson was born around 1830 in England, the daughter of army officer Archibald Robertson. She never married and by middle age became a well-regarded author. More importantly, she became a central figure in the women's suffrage movement in Ireland through her essays, speaking, and leadership. She spent her latter years living in Dublin with her mother and sister. Her end is rather sad. Robertson insisted on living alone after the deaths of her mother and sister so when she died of natural causes her body was not found for several days. She died on or before 21 April 1910 in Dublin.
