Author: Henry Sneyd (1838–1920)

Biography: Henry Sneyd was in 1838 in Ipstones, Staffordshire, the second son of Thomas Sneyd. He attended University College, Oxford and earned a B.A. (1861) and an M.A. (1872). He married. Unclear if Sneyd ever took up a profession since he was independently weathly. He wrote the single historical novel. He died after a short illness on 4 October 1920 in Leek, Staffordshire.
