Biography: Henrietta Guise was born in 1821 in Southampton, the daughter of James Rivett Carnac. In 1848, she married barrister Francis Edward Guise. He became the recorder of Hereford and the couple lived in Westbury on Severn, Gloucestershire. She wrote the single novel The Cravens of Beech Hall (1861). She died suddently in 1897.
