Author: Walter Wood (1866–1961)

Biography: Walter Wood was born on 10 March 1866 in Bradford, the son of William Wood. After schooling and brief spell in the wool trade, he joined the staff of the Yorkshire Observer and went on to work on other periodicals. In addition, he wrote several books including fiction. He married twice. He died on 26 January 1961.
