Author: Herbert Russell (1869–1944)

Biography: Herbert Henry William Russell was born 28 March 1869, the eldest child of novelist William Clark Russell. He followed in his father's footsteps and became a journalist and novelist himself. In 1920 he was knighted for his coverage of the war in Gallipoli and France. He died on 23 March 1944.
