Author: Lilian Street (1862–1936)
Biography: Lilian Maud Street was born in 1862 in Wimbleton, the daughter of Samuel Philip Street. Her younger brother was the author George Slythe Street. Street never married and lived with her older sister Agnes her whole life. In the 1890s, she followed her brother's lead and became a novelist, continuing to write prose and poetry into the next century. She died on 16 March 1936 in London. Sadly, her sister died in October and her brother in November of the same year.
