Author: Hon. Isabel Plunket (1847–1931)

Biography: Hon. Isabel Plunket was born on 9 April 1847 in Dublin, the daughter of John Plunket, 3rd Baron Plunket, and his wife Charlotte Bushe. She grew up with a life of wealth and comfort. In middle age, she wrote poetry and fiction, mostly novels for young adult readers. She never married and died on 10 November 1931 in Chelsea.
