Biography: Elizabeth Ann Allnatt was born in 1819 in Herefordshire, the daughter of William Villiers Surtees. She first married John Charles Ord. Subsequently, she married physician Richard Hopkins Allnatt in 1855. The couple had one daughter. Judging by the census records, the couple moved often and lived in Kent, Sussex, Wales, and Bedfordshire. Allnatt wrote a few works, including two novels. She died in 1901 in Hereford.
