Biography: Elizabeth Bird was born about 1831. Her early life cannot be traced. She had a successful career as a medium by the 1870s and she turned some of her psychic experiences into a novel Between the Lights (1879) under the pseudonym "Lisette Earle." She lived a long life dying on 29 December 1926 in Redhill, Surrey at the age of ninety-six years old.
