Author: Ethel Legros Sanderson
Author: Ethel Legros Sanderson (1867–1933)
Biography: Ethel Legros Sanderson was born in 1867 in Tunbridge Wells, the eldest daughter of clergyman, headmaster, and author Edgar Sanderson (1838–1907). The family lived in Wandsworth where Sanderson and her sisters Mildred and Margaret became "novel writers" according to the 1901 census. Only one title The Story of Leah (1895) written for the Family Herald can be traced. So it seems her foray into fiction was short-lived. Late in life, she moved to Hindhead. Suffering from delicate health, she died on 21 September 1933 at the hospital in Haslemere.
