Author: Philip Henry Pepys (1824–1886)

Biography: Philip Henry Pepys was born in 1824, the eldest son of Henry Pepys, the Bishop of Worcester. He attened Cambridge and was called to the bar in 1849. In addition to several other offices, he became the registrar of the Court of Bankruptcy. He married but had no children. He died in 1886.
