Author: Marianne M. Lathom Browne (1852–1927)

Biography: Marianne Millicent Lathom Browne was born in 1852 in London, the daughter of solicitor and author George Lathom Browne and his wife Maria. Her early life cannot be traced, but she lived for eighty years in Bayswater. According to her obituary, she was an ardent church worker. Her single work of fiction Units in a Crowd (1900) was a temperance novel. She suffered from rheumatoid arthritis in her later years. She died on 12 March 1927 in London.
