Author: Nicholas William Busteed (1814–1872)

Biography: Nicholas William Busteed was born around 1814 in Ireland. At a young age, his family emigrated to New York where Busteed studied the law. He eventually became a well-established lawyer dealing with property. He found time to write a single dime novel, King Barnaby (1862), which was reprinted in England. He married and had several children. He died on 11 December 1872 in New York.
